2G/3G/GAN Handovers, Audio and Multi-Media Testing

Focussed at system and functional test teams working in the R&D departments, the S-CAT 6010 supports multiple GSM/EDGE, WCDMA or UMA/GAN bearers in one hardware unit, providing a deterministic and repeatable method to test complex scenarios covering the full functionality of the wireless device.

More than one device can be connected to the system at a time including a Mobile-to-Mobile call state feature where two devices are connected together at the same time over a mix of GSM, WCDMA or GAN bearers.

Access to applications servers and external services can be easily configured through the client GUI allowing connectivity to carrier grade services and applications whilst retaining full control of the bearer, transport and control layers including full protocol logging at all layers.

Running multiple applications over GSM/EDGE, WCDMA or UMA/GAN, whilst creating challenging channel conditions is an easy, intuitive and repeatable way to baseline stability and monitor any unfriendly user behaviour.
