All RF bearers in one compact HW

The S-CAT 6030 is built on the newly developed hardware, the S-CAT 6000 series main unit. This compact platform includes a dual W-LAN access point that is ready for UMA and GAN cell simulation. It also supports testing of E-GAN, Iu-mode Test Cases. There is no requirement for additional devices or external equipment; however the flexibility of the product extends to supporting external RF units over the LAN. This is advantageous to those who already have RF platforms that they wish to reuse or those that wish perform additional testing, such as exact control of the RF signal levels to perform simultaneously BER or similar measurements.

Fully modular

Options supporting further wireless protocols, additional test requirements due to new features as well as revised Test Cases can be added at any time. Test Cases covering additions to existing test requirements, such as 3G/GAN and E-GAN, are only one example how the S-CAT 6030 is staying in the leading edge by supporting the latest industry standards and specifications. setcom continuously (re)validates all relevant Test Cases and then makes them immediately available for S-CAT 6030 users, as part of the annual support and maintenance programme. In addition, the S-CAT 6030 features setcom’s scripting language, enabling the user to script a library of specific test cases.

Remote access via graphical user interface

The S-CAT 6030 features a built-in graphical user interface (GUI) opening up a whole new world of progressive testing technology. It goes without saying that there are OS-independent remote GUI software packages available to connect the S-CAT 6030 over the LAN - or for your colleagues to hook up to the system within their individual working environments.
